And while many could easily adjust to it, some might want to know how to exactly maximize the expansion. The second-to-the-last content is now made available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. I'm going to carry on with no mods, so if anyone knows a cure for the performance hit using the above texture cull remedy, I'd be interested to know. The newest "Fallout 4" DLC from Bethesda has finally arrived. So anyway, if anyone else has advice, experiences or solutions to DLC bugs, feel free to post. Getting past the action that causes the crash at the start of the Nuke World quest can be achieved without mods but involves a cheat using the console and if you're playing in survival, you need to change difficulty, tthen do the console cheat, then return to survival also using a console command that restores the ability to re-enable survival.

I believe this also restores textures to the Far Harbour DLC but there's a performance hit in open areas, interior areas still perform well. There are a lot of missing ground textures but all textures can be restored by adding:īUsePreCulledObjects=0 to the Fallout4Custom.ini file in your Documents\my games\Fallout4VR folder. There's also an issue with a crash occurring every time you do a required action near the beginning of the first Nuka World main quest, which is fixed with this mod (I won't give any spoilers and say what the action is). (your old saves can be restored though by removing the mods). Using the mod will put a mod tag against your saves and if you haven't been using mods up to this point, non-mod saves won't show up so won't be available to load from. The start of the DLC involves a sequence walking through a fenced in are and the ground textures are invisible but don't affect gameplay. Probably the only good way to do the DLC but still has a few ground texture issues. Using the Fallout 4 Optimisation Project Mod: Anyway, I've been saving the DLC until I've done just about all I can do in the main game and have some comments which others may find useful. If there's another thread for DLC, let me know and I'll merge this but I didn't notice it in my (admittedly brief) search.
